Theatre de la Photographie Nice

The Theatre de la Photographie Nice is an honor to the photographic arts is located in a lovely renovated building a couple blocks off the bustling Boulevard Jean Medicine thoroughfare. In the museum you´ll typically find exhibits of universal appeal, such as a wall dedicated to portraits of Hollywood celebrities over the past several decades and an exposition dedicated to American Indians. One of the missions of this institution at the Theatre de la Photographie Nice is to collect photographs of Nice and its region through research of ancient documents but also by giving authors and photographers of the human heritage of the city, urban life, historical and industry of the city.

Thus the city of Nice has extended its heritage of 40 original prints of Charles Nice Negro made between 1863 and 1865. allowing the public to rediscover Nice in daily life before its influx of inhabitants during the second half of the nineteenth century.
